Details about the Urethane Bushings
These are black graphite-impregnated urethane bushings which are made for Steve Charles who owns a shop in Baltimore called "FAZT Cars Import performance". He got them made from a bushing company somewhere in the area.
These replace your stock rubber mounting bushings with urethane ones which stiffen the mounting of the shifter assembly. This helps increase shift-precision and firmer gear engagement. IOW the "gates" for each gear are more obvious when you move the lever around, you know exactly when you are going into gear instead of only guessing. I definitely noticed this with reverse. I knew if i was in it or not after installing these, instead of only guessing by letting up on the clutch (only to see that it wasn't all the way into gear :mad
The bushings are mounted on the arm that holds your shifter assembly in place. Here is a illustration about where they go in the shifter assembly:

I am getting these bushings for $15 a set, it costs a little over $2 to ship these with the bubble mailers and I am donating $1 for each set sold to Probe Talk. I'm not looking to make much money, just enough to keep my website hosting fees from making me go bankrupt.
