      so the rx8 replaced the rx7 the mazda 6 replaced the 626 and the mazda 3 is replacing the protege? thats just what it seems to me

        All true, except for the RX-8 replacing the RX-7. Mazda already said so, and from the latest concept pictured at the Road&Track magazine, it looks as though that Mazda is working on the newest RX-7. So, we are just going to have to stick around and wait.

              Looks better every time I see it, although the back is what I was unsure of when I saw the first pictures. Still haven't seen any showing the back.

                      I saw a pic of the rx7 somwhere and it just looked like an rx8 but without that suicide door so it was only 2 door and a shorter rx8 chassis

                            The latest Car and Driver reports 150 in the 2.0 and 170 in the 2.3, although they usually get figures like that wrong. 148/160 is what I've been hearing elsewhere though.
