    pistons

If you didn't know . If your 1.5 or 1.8 is loosing compression or if you just want to rebuild your motor. you can order factory pistons, They are not that expensive either. I wrote an email for a quote to mazdaformance.com for some 9.5:1 pistons for a miata BP and the cost was 46.70(circa) . I honestly don't think that is a bad price.
I don't know what pistons for the z5 would cost , but I can't imagine it being that much money..
    Something to think about

Endyne will do custom rollerwaves for ~450 a set. In any compression you want, matched to your cylinder heads, optimized for your engine....etc etc etc.

best stuff on the market if you want to pay and wait a bit

        no per piston

What jess is speaking off also sounds pretty sweet, because then you can raise the compresion up a bit more, figure for an extra 250 bucks ..
