I never seen a yellow mp3. Cool. I wish there was a unique color I could paint my car.

They're quite rare. I got two others that live in the relative area of me.

Last I heard, they all were trading in their cars for MSPs!! Hey at least you have a rare gem there. Nice car and color. I am hoping more people will come over here. A lot are at msprotege and protegeclub is starting to look more and more like a ghost town.

when they make 300, and with all the crashed ones now, I can't see why anyone would want to give up a yellow mp3.

I'm keeping mine, that's for damn sure. Yeah, it's laser blue mica, but it's still my MP3...

MP3s were made for one year right? That makes them like a collector's item. If I had one, I would be keeping it too! Besides that, it was the car that started all the hype in more bang for your buck.

Yep, the MP3 was made in the 2001 model year, late 2001. It was introduced the same time as the Protege 5. Incidentally the Protege 5 was introduced as an early 2002 model.

Hey guys, what's the difference between an MSP and an MP3?

MSP= Turbo, LSD, better stereo, and the 2003.5 and .7 models have a slightly different body design. And of course colors are different.

So basically the MSP is the better, faster and more expensive car right? Oh and please forgive my ignorance because I don't know much about cars, but what is LSD and what did you mean by 2003.5 and .7?

definetly nice and rare cars. If I owned a mp3, especially a yellow one, It would never ever leave my hands. I turbo would grace it's cylnder head, and all others would bow down to it...
                              hmmm sounds like a plan...
