A few size questions?

I got my 02 p5 w/ eibachs I was wondering what my needs were for the offset? and how wide i can go with the rim and tire?(17x7 ........ 205 or 215 or 225) what will fit w/ no rubbing. I'm thinking on going w/ the 205/45/17 +48 offset,I'll probably go wider later when I need new rubber. (5x4.5(114.3??) bolt pattern and bore.

With the prokit I would definately not run less than a 48 offset. I think you may be able to get away with a 215/40/17, but I'm not completely sure on that one. You would definately be safe running 205/40/17.

I was hoping to stick w/ a 45 sidewall unless I can't.... on offsets I'm not sure less would 46 or like 50???
