not converted but ive replaced the powerwindow before.....

i imagine if you ripped out the old manual window and installed the power window bracket it would fit with a few new holes then just go to the junkyard and grab all the wiring from the windows of a power protege...

Are you sure the dashboard wiring is not already there? I know you need to change the door harness, though. Also, you need to change the track on the bottom of the window glass for the rear windows. Cablemirc did this conversion to his car.

Another thing I remember; the plug for our window switches were different, despite the switch itself looking identical. He might have used MX-3 wiring, though.

I put power windows in my SE. Well just the driver side. You need everything TheMAN mentioned. The motor bolts into the exact same spot. I didn't have to change any under-dash harness. Although I was never able to get my passenger side power window working. The motor and regulator were good, but either I wasn't getting power to them or the switch was bad. The back windows I never did becasue you have to get the harness out of an LX, that runs under the carpet. I've been to lazy to pull my carpet to do it so....I figure I will probably get around to it when I order a new carpet since mine's fubared.

I pulled the front power windows from my 91 lx and installed them into my 94 dx....personally the only hard part was disconnecting and the wire harness in the door jam, just take a good look at how the motor is mounted in the door before you pull it,

                    Parts Needed

                    Door panel
                    door switches
wire harness from inside the door only (disconnects at door jam)
                    motor

I swapped these parts only and both my front windoes work great, besure to grease everything up while you have it out.....I didn't have to replace or diconnect anything else....

its better to wait and save then to waste money on crap to get you by....
