    loose stick...?

    ok i've got a question for yall, 95' protege 5 spd manual, now here's the situation i find myself in my shifter feels really loose, i can still shift and it goes into gear however while in gear i can move the shift knob to the left and right way more then i ought to be able to it seems, atleast 3 inchs play in direction any ideas on what could be causing this if yall need any more info just post and i'll answer the best i can, thanks
    Jac and Jill went up the hill they planned to do some kissing, but Jac made a pass and grabbed Jills @$$ and now his front teeth are missing

    id guess your shifter bushings, sounds worn to me

      ok, i'm not sure but that could be it i was planning on pullin it apart at some point to look and see if i could tell if anything was messed up, i just need to get some free time thanks for the input man

          sounds like a good opportunity to switch to polyurethane bushings like the Kartboy ones, for example
