    Is this brake line failure due to my bad installation?

    I'm not sure what could have rubbed it there? Any ideas?

    Alternate title: Thank god for the dual proportioning valve or whatever it's called.

            Yeah, I saw that in the ones you were selling. I think it would have still rubbed down, eventually, anyway. I think I will just get a set of OEM lines... oh well.

              you need to install them at the same angle as OEM, since they lack the hook pin. If you do that your fine.

              true it wouldn't have helped... but a slit silicone hose and a few zip ties and your done...nope, not gonna be pretty, but ya get hose colors...even the zip ties come in colors...LOL
