    mx-3 / escort/ protege coilovers....

My car weigh less than these cars. I know the coilover will fit but i'd like to know if it will be very stiff since mine is atleast 300lbs lighter than the others....

The mx3 coilovers on ebay is only 60$$$ so i might get that but just want to make sure....thanks.

I've heard that the MX3 H&R's are alot stiffer than the Protege ones, so I would assume from that that the MX3 coilovers would be stiffer also. It's hard to say with those eBay coilovers what the spring rate would be like across the spectrum though - they could all be the same for all we know. The Ground Control coilovers I bought from Bruce that were meant for a Civic were too soft for my liking, they might ride different on the 323 though since it's lighter idk.

Don't expect much from $60 coilovers.

My sprint springs are too soft and everytime i shift my car the rear drops almost tucking in the rear tires halfway. Not good for drag race and my front is way too low i scrap my oil pan all over the place. I want something where i can set when racing and daily driving...

I had GC and please dont tell me to buy that bcuz thats a piece of **** too... I want to get the real deal (coilovers not the slip ons) but i cant afford it at the moment...

then weld a metal bar in place of the rear shock. Who needs a suspension anyways?

                  Low boyz

These are coilovers on threaded struts. They say 0-5" of drop.

This setup should fix the problem of bottoming out your struts.

I'm probably gonna have to order a set of these for my Pro, but not until the end of winter.. I really wanted air ride, but I have no room for airtanks...

I don't know why recently everybody has been saying the sprints are too soft. I've had them for around 5 years and just recently installed the ZX2's struts, and couldn't be happier about the ride. The ride feels nice and solid, I don't get the rear sinking like you describe. They don't bounce around at all.

lol - the drop is still nice at 2" - They could have gone another .5"- 1" on the rears though.
