well, my ambition to improve my car is there, and i've done window tinting before, i just could never get it to work right, i get bubbles forming, creases in the tint, from afar..looks good, up close.. like ****. i've gone to 4 shops in the area, one as cheap as $225 bucks for drivers and passenger's windows, the rear window and a 4 inch strip across the top.. thats the cheapest i can find anywhere. other places want 65 an hour for labor with a minimum of 4 booked hours for the tint installation, plus materials, plus some sort of legal fee they have... something i don't even want to get into. so most other places want to do the job for 300 or more is the bottom line. to me, it ain't even ****in worth it, i'm not going darker than 35% and for such a low yield in resulting sun blocking, i'd rather do it myself. the only problem is, i'm extremely inept when it comes to tinting windows. what tools do you guys recommend for a beginner? i have an idea of the process, just what do i need to do to ensure a better quality job? i figure, i can buy the good stuff at a cost, and do the job myself for under $75 bucks. what do you guys suggest?
