The MP3 was a blessing in disguise. Following the wreck of my totalled 2000 1.6 liter, I knew I couldn't buy another car unless it was a Protege. I contacted every Mazda dealership within about 4 hours of where I live. Miraculously somebody traded in a MP3, I bought it the next day. I rescued this car from a life of rice. It had LED windshield washer lights, Nascar stickers, and blue valve stem caps. The moment I bought it I knew it was missing something...a turbo. With the support of Clubprotege I was able to gather the funds for a turbo kit. And the rest unfolds every day on Clubprotege. In the very near future (as soon as they arrive from Malaysia) I will be riding on new bronze Volk replica wheels. The goal for this car is to have an aggressive look but not over the top.
