gladly beat a ford...

can someone tell me if its 'mechanically' possible to beat a ford exploder with my 1.8 sohc?
Well i technically did tonight, and he was my age so i think he would have gladly smacked me if he could have. He did break traction coming off the line and i have to say i did pretty good with the whole shifting area. So maybe he was trying and i put ford in its place...dunno.

Oh yeah. Street racing is stupid.

lol, great post, especially the last line. The things are so friggin heavy it doesn't suprise me, I did lose to a jeep once, grand cherokee V8, but that was only because I ran thru a puddle and sat there spinning

I took my ol bosses 98 F150 4x4 with triton V8 a few times when I had my 92 sohc DX...so yes, it is possible!
