BP09 ECU wth a GTX harness... will it work?

I may have gotten duped on my GTX ECU... which probably isn't a real GTX.

Unfortunately, I butchered my old wire harness. So I'm left with a GTX harness and a BP09 ECU. Can I plug and play or no?

Will it work on a GTX motor? If so, then yes. You might need to do some splicing of a few wires but it should work.

Not the actual plugs that go in the ECU. It's the ones next to the ECU under the dash...

you might find this thread usefull:

Note that this is to make the harness work with the GTX ECU...

              Ohhh ok

I already did that splicing... with the dash harness plugs.

I was talking only about the two yellow plugs that go into the ECU. As long as the pins are the same in the BP09 ECU and BP26 ECU(hence the GTX harness would plug in to the BP09 ECU and work), I should be able to run with that.

I'm not sure if they are... guess there's only one way to find out

              thanks

I know it's the opposite, but I plugged my BP26 ECU into an LX harness and it worked. *shrug*
