    SRT-4 Owned...

by the turbo MP3. Raced from a 10mph kick because he refused to race from a dig. We raced to 100mph and then shut it off. By that point I had a little over a car lenght on him. I can add this to my list of kills:

    SRT-4 stock
97 GST running 3 more psi than stock on t25
    WRX stock
    01 Type S w/ intake, header, exhaust
02 Protege 5 Turbo w/ Spool kit (in all fairness he is still running 5psi to my 8 )
01 MP3 stock (he didn't know what hit him)

I'm not disagreeing completely with what Jesse is saying. For all I know driving skills did play a roll. But it's not like the guy sat there and spun all the way from 1st to 3rd gear. Maybe I can find somebody confirmable driving skills and race their SRT-4. That is about the only way you can be completely sure.

I don't think he'd make up a kill story, maybe there are more variables involved than power to weight ratios? A 5,000lb truck with 250hp should be as fast as my Protege if all you looked at was power/weight ratios... see my point?

yes, and with the same gearing, it would

It's also that the stock SRT-4 has been known to run a high 13 second ET. Again, something faster than McCorkle's turbo'd MP3.

well, most people don't beat the living **** out of their cars by racing or speeding.. i'm not one of them, but i know they're the overwhelming majority. it's a mute point.. we should assume by all respectable standards of racing, a stock SRT-4 with a bigger motor, beefier trans, and more output than Greg's engine has would slap his car to piss.. but such is not so. driver's "Racing" skill in both ends should be amatuer at best, maybe the neon has a leaking gasket.. just maybe.. it's not performing to what dodge claims their vehicles produce.. why argue the point?

True... but I beat a WRX at the dragstrip... running a 15.5

Some people are ****ty drivers, that's a fact.

which brings us to the point that street racing is retarded.

                          "i beat a porsche"

who the **** cares if the porsche driver sucks? does it mean that a protege is faster than a porsche? and if not, why are we wasting time posting about it?
