    Mazdaspeed sway bars on P5

I've read that you need to use the rear subframe from the Mazdaspeed or MP3 to put the rear sway bar on. I've seen people put them on but never heard of this before. Has any body done this?

I don't think you need to do that...Hank has a 00 Protege ES and has the MP3 rear sway bar. I have an AWR swaybar and it doesnt require any modification to the subframe.

you can MAKE the MP3/MSP rear swaybar fit with a little bending, but for it to fit PROPERLY you will need the rear crossmember...thats why when you buy the full kit from Mazda it includes that rear crossmember
