I have the Eibach Pro Kit and I am running 17s. They fit fine without any rubbing. Go to Adventon they have the lowest price for the Pro Kit.

        oh.. another question:

is it possible for me to do it myself?? i need to find as many ways as possible to save on this. (rims 'n tires = $2k)
I'm not toooo car savvy... but i'm learning more every day (reading, messageboards , asking friends).. and i'm not going to install these for another 7-8 months.

If you have to ask, either get some GOOD help, or pay someone to do it....Its not too difficult, if you are a regular shadetree mechanic like me...but dont go messing around with something like coils springs...I knew someone that tried to keep springs compressed with a towel...of course they came loose and flung the spring like 2 blocks...luckily it didnt hit anyone!!!!

I would get one of my auto-savvy friends or my uncle (mechanic) to help... but i'd really like to learn for myself..

Rent a spring compressor so you don't kill yourself.

Autozone will rent you the springs for free. Just pay up front and they refund your $$$ when you return them.

                        Lil Freek,

installing the pro kit is really pretty easy.....get some help as parts of it are a lot easier if you have an extra set of hands....although I did the install by myself.

without a doubt...rent the spring compressor...its not only the SAFE way to do the job...it makes it easier.

I have a P5 and am running 17" with 215/40's they are Yoko AVS ES100's.....I used the stock struts......and the ride is nice....and it now corners even better than before.

ALL you must do is this....AFTER you get the springs and your new wheels/tires on....give it about a week and then take your car to a good alignment shop or the dealer and have an alignment done...it WILL need it...if you don't....you will find down the road that your new tires you just got are ruined as the insides will be worn terribly....

I've got the Eibach Pro Kit and I don't rub with 17s. And I won't be rubbing with my new 18s soon either.
