    A word to the wise

Don't wash your car keys with an alarm remote. That is all.

    Good advice!
According to my Anger Management Counselor, after 26 weeks of anger management class, I should be an expert when it comes to Anger Management...tell that to the guy who threw a starburst at my car in rush hour traffic...haha

oh **** gotta go stop the washer......

some other **** ppl do to them that they shouldn't-
-dont leave them in direct sunlight
      -dont drop them (yea right)
-dont leave them near magnets (name badges are notorious for killing them)
-dont give them to your child to shut them up
-dont let your dog chew on them

do clean them out every once in a while (lint from your pocket can get inside of them)

too late for me, i dropped mine in a bucket of hot water, but after taking it apart and drying for a day, they were fully functional again.

use the delicate cycle perhaps? despite the bad things you could possibly do with a car remote, locking them in the trunk with your only keys.. now thats a number my mom has caught slack for the past 8 years.

lol. Some are more delicate than others. I reccommend being gentle with all of them.

so far.. I have been pretty lucky. I did find out that the remote to my 2001 Mazda MPV remote was water proof after spending the day at the Beach Water park with the keys in the pockey of my swim suit. It worked fine afterwards. Completely forgot about that until I was leaving and shook the water off them. I am sure they have a rubber seal in there somewhere?
