not zx-2s but i did it any way

I just ordered some gr-2 and h&r springs. Not the best, I know. But the might go to my little bother next summer.
I just bought a 323 and a totaled pro lx so hopefully I will have a BP 323 by summer. So I figure the gr-2s will get me by.

      yes, ofcourse they will..

You know.. I may have to order a set of those myself. I don't really want the zx-2's.. the car will be to low and the tie bars may scrape.. can't have that ...

Your gonna love your 323 with a BP..
      shoot I know I do..

Get your timing on point.. and then advance it a little. and that bia will fly..

get headers to .. they make such a difference it's not funny.

you might as well order monroes or gabriels.....they are just as good/crappy as GR2's.

GR2's are premium OEM replacements. They'll probably be fine for a year or two, but start to show signs of wear just like factory struts would w/time & use.

The Gr2's on my car only lasted about 6 months with the H&R Protege Springs. The ride got way to loose feeling to me, when I took the struts apart it took forever for the rod to come back up. The Stock Escort GT Tokicos I installed with the springs ride so much firmer. (94 EGT with less than 60 K) With the front lower tie bar installed it handles great, I have yet to hit anything with the tie bar.

6 months you say, I find that hard to bleave.
And if that is so I would have call for a refund or some thing.

Not if you're using lowering springs, 6 months is a lot of wear and tear for shocks designed for stock ride-height.

my gr-2's died in 2months...granted i did 3 auto-x's during that time, but i swapped em out for gabriels, and got a firmer ride actually, and now those are blown and i need strut mounts.

How much are the gr-2's? Do you really save enough to get them instead of the ZX2's?
