and if you dont do all the work yourself???
According to my Anger Management Counselor, after 26 weeks of anger management class, I should be an expert when it comes to Anger Management...tell that to the guy who threw a starburst at my car in rush hour traffic...haha

    Todays thought of the day:

Rice is great if your really hungry and want to eat 2000 of something.

Every car is meant to be fast... some faster than others, but you can make a protege fast.

EDIT: OK, maybe not a Yugo.

N/A is for people who aren't smart enough to go FI. N/A is for people who can't afford to make a car go fast right away but over the time span of a few years.

Why is this becoming a vette vs. protege argument!
vette >>> slaughters >> protege no one is contesting this
Not everyone has $50 grand to blow on a car though, or wants a used car for that matter (especially not a used american car). Some/ most people get practical cheap cars that they later put money into.

And no one only drag races there protege, thats a job for american muscle. Proteges are driven every day and yes that includes in the snow and rain.

The appeal of modifying a Protege (or any other economy sedan) to that level of performance is that you can have a daily driver that can carry the kids and the groceries but still put up a good challenge. Very few people build cars like this to challenge Corvettes or Vipers or other big muscle cars... these are to challenge other high-powered imports. This is for a Honda or a Subaru or something.

Did you ever stop to think how much more insurance would cost on a Vette than a 4 door economy sedan for a 19 yr old male?
