Why my Tranmission fluid change to a dark red and smelling burn.I use quaker state Tranmission fluid and i change it two months ago and I have a Tranmission cooler. What happening

I do not know why you would experience the smell, but the color is very typical. Even if you were to flush your tranny last week, and check it now, it would be of a very dirty color. You mention of a tranny cooler, which I know was not stock on our cars, so maybe you have a tiny leak in some place, where the tranny fliud gets on a hot surface. Dunno

no the Tranmission fluid smell kind of burn on the dipstick and drive gear not working it make the car move slow when I floor the gas.Comment
