which speakers are better?

Have someone expirience with these brands so you can tell me which is better, good sound quality?

1. Infinity
2. JBL
3. Boston acoustics
4. Pionner

i have used pioneer and jbl and for me is much better jbl...for the otherones i don't know... thanx!!

depends on which ones your getting, pioneer for example has a lot of different series and most of them are ****ty, but if you spent a lot, they also offer good ones.
if you want to get good speakers for low money and only have these 4 options, i would choose the Infinity reference series

reguardless of the relevancy of where this is posted, i would submit boston acoustics as definately one of the better. i've had pioneer speakers and they've all left something to be desired to me. infinity... i'm not entirely sure, i've done some store demos of these puppies recently, and they sounded better than the sony, pioneer, bazooka, and polk sets. as far as jbl.. i wouldn't know what to tell you. going with boston acoustics, i had some mounting issues in my protege, but they sounded wonderful.

I would also go with Boston Acoustics, but what is "best" is a matter of personal preference. You might like the cheap speakers better when you hear them.

very very true, stop by a walmart, a best buy or a circuit city and demo these models in person and see which you like best. as far as boston acoustics dealers, you'd most likely have to contact them to find a local authorized dealer. as much as personal preference, the equipment you use to reproduce/provide your audio signal can have as much to do with the end result as the speakers themselves.. it's all relative.

I have the Infinity Ref series and i really like them... they have a really nice sound even though they're running with no external amp for now...

for lower priced, infinity's. for higher, boston's. course each person hears differently, so it's all personal preference.

bostons are definately quality speakers, we sell them at my work. If you really wanna fork out cash though Focal is the one. but outta the list either boston or infinity.

I would use that list that you narrowed it down to and go out and listen to all of them using the same head unit with or without an amp, but if you amp them, make sure that the same amp is on the different speakers for a true evaluation. Bring in your favorite CDs and various kinds of music to see how they sound with say Jazz, R&B, Rap, Rock, etc. Then you can narrow it down to personal preference. Every one is different so what sounds good to me may sound too bright to you or others. You get the idea.

Like blue said, boston if you wanna pay extra but infinity if you wanna go cheap. Bostons are my favorite low cost speaker.
