Ok need a new cat pretty bad, mine makes all sorts of horrible noises, anyone know where I can get a 2.25" outlet, and whatever the stock piping inlet is?? Thanks!

catco? will this pass the smog in cali? since we have the dyno smog already... just wondering cuz i want to buy one for my 323.

I'm not sure about with the dyno, but I think it will pass fine, BUT everything has to be in good working order. Spark plugs, wires, distrubtor, O2 sensor, etc. On the basic smog it was 140ppm max at idle for a 92 model, 120ppm for a 93. My 93 always scored well below that (about 1/10th of max at idle and at 2500), as it's in nice shape. The 92 had a little difficulty but it wasn't taken care of very well.

As long as that cat has close to stock capacity I'm sure you would be okay. (I'm sure it does, it's 10 years newer).

I wouldn't recommend Midas, btw. The best choices seem to be a local shop, especially if you know somebody who recommends them.

i got my new cat, flex pipe and all installed for 140$ altogether. My cat is a catco, and it kicks some serious ass...its so much less restrictive

Yeah i would also like to know about admissions on the carsound. im also in Cali and there not ****ing around.
Im even a bit unsure about the catco.
