what's a machined lip?

ya so it asks, what's a machined lip?

ive seen car wheels that are marked as having a machined lip. what does that mean? is that good/better?

It means the spokes are kinda set into the wheel. You can see in the picture of mine below...it's the reflective part around the outside at the end of the spokes.
