No i didn't install it. I bought the car this way. I actually removed it not too long ago. Next thing I am going to remove is the weapon-r intake. Any of you have a stock intake on hand?<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/kuyafred/protege/ProteCelica2.jpg">

ya, i dunno how useful that venom thing is on our car...
did you notice a decrease when you removed it?

I bought the car, with 126,000 miles, for a little over $1000. I looked for advice regarding a good reliable inexpensive car and I was told that a non-automatic protege would fit into that category. So I found this 5 speed at an auction in Fife, WA.
Another reason that I am bringing it back down to stock is because the cops here in Redmond trip too much. I was pulled over twice driving my Celica, which has the Action Package. Both times I had to convince the cop that the spoiler on the vehicle was factory installed and was DOT approved.
Oh yeah, when I uninstalled the Venom 400 I noticed that the car wasn't as responsive. The car felt bogged down when I shifted into another gear. then keep the venom 400 the cops are not gonna be on your ass for that and it sounds like it gives you the bit of power that most of us cant get but want! lol
