    Essential Speed Bad?

Man, I'm having serious buyers remorse about ordering my 4-2-1 header from ES. I ordered back in Oct. and have been reading forums here and on msprotege.com about delays and the ES not return e-mails or calls. Will I still get my order or did I basically flush my money down the drain?

pay with credit card? if so, file a claim with them stating you never recv'd the product.

You will probably get your headers but it will take a while. I had to call them every day until I finally got my intake which took like 3 months. Dont bother leaving messages cause you will not get an answer. Just keep calling and waiting.

Hopefully you will get them soon.

Well I paid with a check card, so no money back option for me, I will have to pester them until I get a hold of them. Thanks for the support everyone.

like what somebody posted in a thread here. its a known fact that there are not a lot of performance shops for our protege's and when a shop comes along it has to be a DISAPPOINTMENT.

ES sucks big time. The threads on msprotege.com says it all.

Ordered a Cold Air Intake in early August and I've got nothing. It's December and I've got jack. I'm about to go through the whole reporting them to canadian BBB (or whatever it's called) and getting a refund from my credit card.

People should never order from them.

Yeah basically. There really is no excuse for it taking that long. I didn't know any shops locally that could make one for me for less than they're charginf until I alreday ordered. So I got screwed and got several "it'll ship in a few weeks" responses that amounted to nothing.

If you can tell I'm a little pissed at ES and hope they get shut down for being such stupid business people. If they couldn't meet the demand they shouldn't bluff by taking peoples orders and not delivering in a timely manner.

3+ months for a CAI is ridiculous. Even for headers and other custom work, there no excuse for how poor ES is treating its customers.

I agree with everything said here. I was going to get them to build me a crate motor, but after reading about all of the problems others have had with them, i backed off. I'll wait until I find someone else that can do the job for me, hopefully sooner than later.
