on past fourms i have been on, non mazda cars were discussed, sometimes in length in the off topic. it hwlps keep the site a litte more streamlined that way.

i think, by having it's own heading, it would attract other makes as a little more "friendly"

Perhaps you could have two non-Protege/Mazda3 forums, one for other Mazdas (like the 6, Miata, etc.) and one for all other vehicles. I know as far as other Mazdas are concerned that you could go to those enthusiasts sites, but some of us here own more than one Mazda and might like to talk about them within own community.
