sub suggestions

This weekend the 2 12" Cadence Subs I've had for a while finally died on me. I was just going to ask for suggestions on what subs to get now. My brother has 2 12" Audiobahn Flame Q subs that he's never used before that he was going to use in project car before he gave up on it. Would those be a good choice for me? I have a 1000 watt amp with a 1.0 farad capacitor. Any advice would be appreciated.

I really don't have a set budget in mind. My brother will sell both of his flame q's for $150 and they have never been taken out of the box. I figured that's a buy I can't turn down. I've never used any Audiobahn products before, so i don't know how good the flame Q is in comparison to others on the market with the same specs. I'm not looking for world-records in Dbs or SPL or anything like that, just something that's respectable performance-wise, that's all.

My borother is going to let me use the Flame Q's this weekend for the Mazda meet in Birmingham. If I like them, I'll keep them, if not, back to the drawing board.
