    looking for 91 escort gt or pro ecu

    i was lookin on http://www.car-part.com for a ecu for a 91 escort gt and when i did a search and it came up with these results and i have no clue what they are for so i figured id better ask before i bought something i couldnt use of dont need

    Elec Cont Unit (ECU), 4-109 (1.8L, DOHC), ID BP09-A, B, D and R
    Elec Cont Unit (ECU), 4-109 (1.8L, DOHC), ID BP09-E and F

      I don't think the ZA6P-R is the right one. It would look like A, B, etc are different revisions.

      Somebody help me out here

                    At the local junker, there are currently two EGTs and 2 Pro LXs. Assuming auto or manual transmission doesn't make a difference (which I don't think they do), I can swing by and pick one up for you (cost of the junker+shipping).

                        there is a huge diference batween the manual and automatic ECU. if you can find a 5 spd ECU, tell us, most people will be mort than happy tohear that there are some out there

                          Thx for the info. I was unsure that it varied. I try to get to the junker today and snag all of the manual ECUs.
