    17" 99 Protege Wheels

Please don't burn me! I have seached this forum but am having a hard time finding a clear answer. I have a 99 Protege LX Touring Edition (Can). That is a ES US spec i believe. I want to get some 17" wheels and run 205/45/17's on them. I want to know from those who have experience with this application NOT from those who think they do. What i need to know is, what is the best offset for the rims. Thank you!

hmlol? i run 4/100 on 205/40/R17 (not 45!) ET+40 and the rear fenders had to be rolled.. so i guess with 42 or better 45 you might be on the right way..

Yeah, you'll want 40/17's if you want to use 17" rims, or 45/16's if you want to use 45's.
