    First Fiberglass Sub Box

I'm not claiming to be an expert, but I'd like to say I'm definately not a beginner now. I've been working on a custom glass bumper for about 8 months now (which is now scrapped, but it was a learning project) and started and finished this sub box within about a month. Unfortunately, since I really went into it rather blindly, I took no progress pictures. I had a deal with this girl that if she paid for the materials, I'd do all the labor for free just to gain the experience. She already had these 2 8"s and the amp, but the box was hideous and huge and she hated it. So I made a mold of the side panels and created the rings and all that ishtand mounted em and painted em all pretty for her. It definately hits a lot harder than before in the wood and looks way sexier. Chicks dig fiberglass. I'm posting this because I know I looked at lots of glass sub boxes online before I started makin em, I'm now on my third one. #2 is going to be complete this weekend and the third (MINE) is going to be done within the month. Both of those I'm taking progress pictures as I plan on creating an abbreviated tutorial when I'm done. So um, i'll shutup and show the pix.

By the way, it's a Toyota Tercel, if anybody cares.

and before anybody says anything... the "mounting" of the amp is her dad's doing... I didnt' care enough (at the time) to make a glass mounting.. the box I'm workin on right now (MINE!) is gonna have the amp mounted within it.

Looks good...did you take into consideration, dimensions needed, or did you just make it any size?
According to my Anger Management Counselor, after 26 weeks of anger management class, I should be an expert when it comes to Anger Management...tell that to the guy who threw a starburst at my car in rush hour traffic...haha

The airspace is almost perfect, I did take it into consideration, but I'm not gonna lie... it was mostly by coincidance it came out right. I was mainly shooting for space conservation and makin it pretty.

hah, i've done a lot weirder and a lot dumber things to my car than the xmas lights... the whole purpose of making a mistake is to learn, and this car in itself is a mistake, thus a huge learning project.

            Thanks though, heh. appreciated.
