    Price of a Quaife LSD??

Anyone know where I can get a Limied Slip Diff cheaper than 1400 for the Quaife.

The Mazdaspeed LSD does not work with my F series tranny, only the G. =(

I have been looking around on the net for about an hour. Still looking for anything on custom LSD's.

Maybe you can email these guys, Phantom Grip at www.pantomgrip.com

I don't know if this type of lsd interests you

I am not sure about the phantomgrip, they were haveing a big talk about it here on this site. Seems like it may cause your spider gears to break.. that would really suck

You could try these guys also .. I know they mostly work on dsm or something like that, but see what they say

Don't go for the phantom grip is the advice I've heard.

It isn't even much cheaper from Mazda Motorsports, I don't know that you are going to get a really good price anywhere.

and I would imagine that a custom made lsd won't be to cheap.
In that link here there is a guy "dude in a mirage" that has that phantom style lsd. He seems to basically say it lasts for like 30,000 miles or something like that. That really sucks.

        What does Corksport think?

If you are going to go through the hassle of an LSD anyway, maybe you should just go to the G series. Couldn't you find a unit from a wrecked MSP (d'oh) ?

              MS Protege LSD
              OPM clutch type LSD
              Quaife LSD

those are the 3 ones anyone should be looking at.

                CS advises against the Phantomgrip.

I think going with the G series tranny is what i'll have to do. Derrick was saying though that theres something differnt with my year pro (97) and getting the G series to hook properly.

I know the 1st gens use that spedo cable, that hooks to the back of the gauge cluster. Our second gens don't use that... That could be 1 hold up...
I am not sure of anything else off hand..

With a stand alone, it wouldn't matter.
