it's great for engine parts.. just don't use it on any 'finished' surfaces that carry a shine on them usually.. super clean is nasty for eating clear coat alive. moreso, sometimes it leaves a residue.. so be especially careful to rinse what ever you clean with that **** REAL good and wipe it dry.

I found it to be great on wheels also ...

Just becareful when you are rinsing it off... Some got on the fender of the protege, and it needs to be repainted now.. It basically started burning the paint.

Otherwise, that stuff kills dirt alive .. I love it.

I got some for the swap I'm doing right now. It is pretty awesome... It's somewhere between brake parts cleaner and simple green. I got the gallon jug and put it my own spray bottles... cheaper that way.

gonna have to give it a try. I was tired of scrubbing the tranny with simple green..... it works, but seems to have left some crap in the corners that are hard to get to.

i'd say, with the super clean make sure you wear some gloves, nitrile preferably since they're resistant to chemicals.

thats why i was saying use the nitrile gloves. i made the mistake also thinking i'd just be careful, but got it on my hands anyway because my spray bottle leaked. if you have sensitive skin, it burns pretty good. invest in the nitrile (usually blue) gloves at the auto parts store, and wear those. they're a little heavier than normal latex gloves, and are resistant to most chemicals you'll be using for auto use. good to have around.
