    Own an AWR rear swaybar? Look inside, trust me, its' good.

    Do you suffer from this:

    Notice the rust on my hex cap screws in the bracket?

    Why don't you replace them with these:





    I was taking pics of my 21.5mm AWR swaybar for another user on the board, and I noticed that the hex screws in my brackets for the adjustable end-links were showing a lot of rust already. I talked with Tony, and he said the only thing to do is spray WD-40 on there, or replace them with stainless steel.

    I am replacing mine, so I figured anyone else would want there's replaced as well. For a nominal fee to cover shipping and handling, I will send a set of 8 stainless steel 1/4"/20 hex cap screws to anyone who wants them.

          yeah, i don't know why tony doesn't just include these with the kit. He didn't seem at all interested in a fix, either.

            hey glyph,
            I have a 19 mm sway and got the same problem with the rust, but thas ok..

            Does your bar make any noise? I recently adjusted my sway and made it suuper stiff, but now its clunking like crazy.

              i've heard of the clunking issue, and I have heard a clunk a couple times, but not enough to really notice it, nor be sure it's the bar. We'll see what happens when I get mine on the road. The car is in pieces right now for my turbo install (and many other things)

                  tonight, maybe tomorrow depending on dry time, I should be posting some pics of my completed intake manifold, dynamic chamber, and valve cover. Gaskets come in on Thursday for the re-install.

                    I just checked with AWR, the 19mm swaybar uses the same bolts. I still have quite a few.
