I need to make more money....

The boss told me today that he's just purchased a 2001 ACR Viper GTS. Bad ass car, race ready, just add a cage. The kicker is, that I can use the car for track days at Road Atlanta and to get my SCCA RR licence. Kick...Ass. He'll be picking it up next weekend and I'll have pics sooner or later.

This guy used to drive a Panoz GTS and consistantly placed 1st and 2nd with it. He's an awsome driver. He's already provided me with a ton of insight on driving.

Now, if only I could make enough money to fully support this racing craving of mine....

Once said 7 seconds he'd clock.
    So his engine he goosed
    With much too much boost,
And drove a rod through his block.

Not really rubbing anything in...just saying I wish I could afford cars like he can, heh. But at least I get to drive it.

Dunno yet. He's picking it up next weekend. His 'vette was a blast. 160MPH on the back straight at Road Atlanta....that's an experience. His regular Oldsmobile racer tops at about 130. Imagine an 88 Calais bookin' it around a corner. It draws a lot of attention.

I should really look into starting my own company, heh.

you know, you can always take your Miata and turn it into a SCCA Spec Miata racecar

it *may* not be as fast as a Viper ACR, but racing a *slightly* (i hope you're getting my humor ) slower car may actually be more rewarding for the development of your driving skill!

Actually...that's my goal. I'd absolutly love to get into Spec Miata. SM is an awsome class; drivers' skill all the way. However, it seems as though I'm getting too attached to my Miata and will probably end up buying another in the future to take into SM (dammit, lol). I just need to develop the budget for such a feat (with the current Miata or a second one).
