Several Technical Questions. NEED ANSWERS

1. What are the size of stock BP injectors?

2. What fuel pressure does the stock BP fuel pump run.

3.What fuel pressure does a 3rdgen RX7TT fuel pump run at?


I know that these questions will be hard to answer but i really need to know. If anyone can answer this that would be great!

I can at least answer the first one.

They are 230cc injectors Denso Part # 195500-2180.

Well as far as i know the BP and Z5 use the same fuel pump so they probably run at the same fuel pressure. If anyone has a fuel pressure gauge on there Z5 or BP set up let me know how much PSI it runs at idle and at WOT.

Well, there are high performance fuel injectors, fuel pumps, and fuel pressure regulators for the 1.5l and the 1.8l

Fuel Pressure Regulator - Go to nopionline.com It's a ractive fuel pressure. I'm thinkin its made for our car or its universal... anyhow it will work for our car.

the 1.5 = 39-45 psi
the 1.8 = 40-45 psi

so could you take the bp injectors and put them in a z5. Also would it give any gain????

I'm not technical guru but wouldn't adding putting bigger injectors would only make you run richer. which i don't think would not at all give you any gains.

more gas + more air = more power.

more gas + same air = same power + black smoke + smelly fumes.

You pretty much nailed it on the head. There are some gives and takes of course, but FWIW, Project323 summed it up.
