    do you guys think a 3rd gen MSP's sideskirt would fit our 2nd gen?

    1996 1.5L Mazda Protege DX MTX
    Mods:
    DX converted to an LX (F & R seats and All Power), 2" Exhaust from the Catback, EuroReverse Glow Gauges, JDM Clear Side Markers, 17" MB Motoring Rims, K&N air filter 33-2134, All Clear Lenses, Front Strut Bar, MS Sideskirts, JDM Taillights, JDM Turbo Diesel Hood Scoop, OEM Door Visors, and Ducktail.

    get a tapemeasure and measure the difference, it could probably be done, but you might need to dremel.

      anyone want to measure their 3rd gen MSP sideskirt? someone had told me a 2nd gen owner had done this, i hope he could shed some light on the matter.

        Fidanzda 8lb flywheel, ACT HD00, UR Crank Pulley, UR Adj. Cam-Gears, Exh-Intake CamShaft Swap, MS Engine Mounts, Custom CAI, PaceSetter Header, 2.25" in/out-let Magnaflow Cat, 2.25" Mandrel-Bent Exhaust.

              you guys are right. just saw on his cardomain page. also noticed he sold his protege already, i guess thats why he hasnt been writing on this site anymore. i guess since obviously someone has done it, i wonder if there is going to be a lot of trimming, cutting, or whatnot involved. i've emailed him and hopefully he'll write back.

                the trimming/problem is where the skirt meets the fender/tire wells.

                  just got a response and better he supplied me with a picture. he told me where to trim it. if i dont get a sidekskirt for our 2nd gen then i will do this.

                      for me it is cuz its an original mazda design, although not for our model. i tend to be biased towards anything with the "mazda" logo.
