If I hadn't done all this work to get my Escort GTX'ed - I'd consider buying it.

If the car is in as good a shape as it looks, 7900 cad is not a bad price for the AWD GTX. If you check out the company, they import a lot of Skylines and those look pretty nice as well - ummm Skylines.

Soo ... who's gonna buy the car?? It'd be awesome if someone on here got it

126k on the clock.... that's awfully pricey.

If I can figure out how to get it to St. Louis I might buy it. I'm going to call the guy tomorrow. I have been wanting one for a long time. If I do get it, someone will have to buy my protege though.

You wouldn't be able to bring it to the states, anyway

Sure you can, just register it as a regular protege in a state that doesn't inspect vehicles.

When I bought my MR2 from Maryland, they NEVER even looked at the car at all when I registered it. It could have been a bicycle or a Semi-truck, they never would have been able to tell.

                          ya, how does that work?

i was under the impression that skylines were never allowed in canada....
but there are 2 of them here and they're RHD too

they just got stickers that say "caution, RHD vehicle"
how did they pull that off?

There are some around Vancouver and even more in the prairies - Skylines that is. In the prairies they don't even have to deal with emission laws.

It is actually legal to own them here - not sure about technicalities - but a lot of import cars come through Vancouver
