Welcome! Nice to see another 1st gen race car. Although i'm gonna move this to Motorsports, since thats more or less the topic.

I'd hate to be the safety stewerd the day that vette meet the pole...yikes!

sign a waiver and wear the provided wrist band in plain view (on your wrist).

              Eligible Vehicles

The event is open to all fixed roof production based vehicles that pass
tech inspection, with the exception of vehicles that the chairman deems
unacceptable for a rallycross i.e. trucks and SUVs .
Vehicles running in the SS classes must have a functioning catalytic converter.

              Tech Inspection.

Each vehicle entered must pass safety inspection per the SCCA RallyCross
2005 Rules immediately after registration. Please have your assigned number
and class clearly displayed on both sides of your car.

              Scoring and Timing

Your fastest time on each course will be used to determine your score. Your
times will be added together to arrive at your total score for the event.
Lowest time is the winner per class and overall.
Each pylon that is displaced will be 2 second, or 3/100 minute penalty
depending on the clock system in use for that event.
Each pylon displaced after the finish line will be 30 seconds, or 50/100
minute depending on the clock system used for that event.
If you are off course and do not recover properly, you will receive a DNF
              for that run.

              Course

You may walk thru the course prior to the start of each session. Safety
inspector will lead everyone through on a slow precession lap before the
              start of each group.
All drivers are required to work on the course. See the worker coordinator
              for your assignment.
Attendance at the drivers meeting is required. Time and place will be posted
              or announced at registration.

Jordy, the GTX is a blast to drive during the rallyx's. At the last event I did I had some troubles with mine, and couldn't finish the event. I also put down the crappiest times out there due to my problems. I had a bent fender, and the wheel caught it on one of the turns and bent it more, and every turn it would catch the wheel and send me off the other way.

I was in Oscoda this past weekend at the SCCA ProSolo. 2nd year in a row I made the drive up from Florida. Oscoda's nice....we had a little cabin right on Lake Huron, and we had a big cookout and played beach volleyball with some of the Nations best drivers.... you'd be amazed at how silly you can make a National Champion look when you throw a ball at them.

Well the rallycross was awesome.... got 4 runs one way and 4 runs the other.....

I took the win by 1.5 seconds over a 2 driver Neon.. I could not belive how bad the track got after just a few runs.....I will be pulling dirt and sod out of the car for quite a while (IF I actually clean it)

The track got so bad that they had to keep changing it

My brother ran the Audi quattro and took 2nd.... he was .2 from the win and he was in the top 10 in overall times.

Just for fun we piled 4 people into the Audi and ran one lap... the looks we got were well worth it...

I also got to ride in a full race production subie.... OMG sweet ride

                      Pics to follow soon.......
