just some questions for anyone know whos the answer, please no 'its worthless, its pointless, its stupid yada yada' i'm doing some research before i swap

btw this is going in my 93 egt

ecu

will the k8 ecu work for the kf? or will i have to use the probe 2.5?

transmission

k8 tranny?
probe/mx6/626 tranny?

mounts

customs? k8 engine mounts?
mx3 tranny mounts?

what else would i need???

mx3 drive shafts???

u can use the K8 Ecu, and or the KLDE ECU.
K8 / probe-mx6-626 tranny al lwill work

U need the passenger sid emount from the V6

U need v6 mx3 axles,

And EVERYthuing and anything attached tot he v6, included the power steering pump , even the brake booster vaccum line form the master cylinder. Im actually right in the middle of the swap into my pro. I should be done tommorrow with more pics...check it out.

thats going to be a fun little swap. but you're swapping the 2.5 v6 KLDE. i want to swap the 2.0 v6 KFZE. i wont 100 bucks off the engine about 2 months ago, and the coupon expires in august. and the KFZE is only 750$ canadian with 200 bucks knocked off that, so i'm in business. plus my friend has extra axels, and another friend just scrapped his mx-3. so im going to grab everything but the tranny (my other friend already bought that).

so i'm slowly working on getting all my parts for this swap.

so if anyone knows is the tranny is compatible from an mx3 and same with the ecu/axels/crossmemeber, please let me know, i NEEEEEED TO KNOWWWWW

its all the same. U need the mx3 v6 tranny/axles/crossmember/KLDE ecu or K8 ECU. A friend of mine had a kfze last summer. im not sure if he used the klde ECU or the KLZE one he has. i think he used the KLZE ECU along with the KLZE Cams..ill as him. BTW i still have a working KFZE Distributor if u need it.

how did you get the disti? thats cool tho, so i've decided not to do this swap because i found this hardcore winter beater that's selling for 600$ with very little work needed.

A friend of mine had a kfze in his mx3, and he held on the distributor.

IF u want tot use the KLde Ecu with the kf ze, u have to use the KLde Maf sensor. And same with the K8 ECU u will have to use the k8 maf with it.
