well the clutch i got is completely shot but the pressure plate is in decent shape so can i just replace the clutch pad and keep the gtx flywheel and pressure plate. I was planning on using everything from the gtx. I tried putting the pad on the g series tranny i had (k8 tranny) and it went on so do you think a g series clutch will work.

no, the GTX and G series trannies use different size flywheels

1.8L v6 clutch disc = 1.8L BP clutch disc
both should be the same 225mm, according to ACT and other major clutch manufacturers I have read about.
But be sure to measure the stock k8 clutch if your going to try to reuse it to be sure of size.Comment
