Good pressure for Yokohama ES 100s?

I'm currently running roughly 38 psi after warmed up. What are the rest of you running?

I'm running 36 PSI in my Yokohama AVS ES !00's in 205/45-16 size. I find this just about the optimal pressure both for good handling in the twisties and decent ride quality and comfort on long trips.

    Happy Motoring!

36 PSI cold. When I have my OEM 15" steels on with stock 195/55's for winter use, I run 34 PSI cold even though 32 PSI cold is specified. Again, the slightly higher pressure seems to make for somewhat better handling. Based on my own experience, I would say to experiment with pressures somewhere between 32 and 36 PSI.

I hope this helps although I know choice of tire pressure is a highly personal preference based on your specific driving style.

Yeah when i did mine i figured 38 warmed up is a good # for handling as cold its probably around 35-36 depending on outside temp. And i do feel EVERY bump then again i do have a suspension that is moving along nicely as far as parts done! So thus i don't expect nor want a "comfort" ride i want handling!

I'm also curious as to why you run such high pressure. I would think 44 PSI cold is fairly severely overinflated and would affect handling adversely. Is there a particular reason for your choice?

44psi is retarded, you're going to wear out the center of the tire way too quick IMHO. I keep my ES100's around 32psi all the way around... and I have killer traction.
