    some random honda

    I don't normally indulge, but every once in awhile . . .

It was a 97ish accord (I think) definitely VTEC definitely manual (more on that later) lowered, twin tip exhaust, wheels (looked to be about 17"). We got about three runs but nothing too fast, never really broke 50. First time really doesn't count because we weren't even lined up (there were two stop lines, he was like 2 car lengths behind me) and I didn't launch. Second time we were lined up and both launched, started walking on him pretty badly right away, he kind of held when the vtec kicked in, but never made ground up. He definitely missed third, at first I thought it was a BOV, but then I realized that it was unlikely, because if he had a turbo, I probably wouldn't be in front of him. Third run was clean, I walked. After that there were other cars around, so we stopped. I was surprised at the non-ricerishness of his car, but he still lost.

Hmmm ... wern't the V6 accords the only ones with twin pipes? Those are decently fast.
