    eBay power mod instructions?

Has anyone bought the so called 20HP power mod they try to sell on eBay? Care to share what the trick is? I bought the flip flop trunk instructions a while back that I'd be willing to share in return.

Don't waste your time, it's pure poop. I believe it makes you run in 'closed loop mode' which is what happens when you floor it.

This is NOT desireable to be driving like this all day

looks simple enough. Down here in S. Florida any drop in outside temp makes a noticeable difference in the cars pick up. I bet this would be a good mod for down here since it never gets below 57 degrees outside. Only thing is, where is the IAT sensor on our cars?

Here is the Flip Flop trunk kit instructions.

Do yourself a favor and go to Radio Shack, buy a 100-pack of assorted resistors, and use the same one that is sold on ebay.

Whoever is selling those "power mods" is making a killing by selling resistors that are worth a few pennies.

and remeber the colder it is outside the better your car performs when the engine is up to temperature. colder air = denser air = higher stoic ratio of O2 to C8-H18 which usually means more power. so even if you are dumping more fuel into your cyl, you only have so much air to combust it with.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

You're going to get worse gas mileage for probably no power at all.

i'm sorry, you've been officially downgraded, and from hence forth, shall be known as lol, j/k. bro, that **** is crazy, i would never waste my time with e-bay based modifications again!! i know, i own my very own high performance 3 inch intake with complimentary 90 degree bend (basically means my intake is opened up a drastic amount, but too much to make a positive difference in horsepower) if anything, the cone filter did more for horsepower. and even running with that resistor, you wouldn't gain 20 hp.. no way in hell.
                peace

Yea, yea, yea So I likes my eBay crap.
I know it's a total non-mod, but still I'd like to experiment with it. Although, I've still yet to hear anyone chime in as to the location of the IAT sensor.
I'm just having a little fun with my...econoracer?
