I just drove one the other day, it made me sad because the transmission was soooooo nice, then I had to get back in my Protege and it's not nice.

A close friend of mine has a 2005 RSX-S. I drove it several times. The car is very nice, and very fast. There's no way you can take it with a mildly modified LX. With turbo yeah, but just motor... no way. Unless you've spent an ungodly amount of money on your N/A BP which I doubt.

Good job. Charles gave me a ride in his GTX'ed Protege (video) and it felt a lot faster than the RSX-S I drove.

it's not a "tricked out" honda, it's a honda. period. the only place it's the acura rsx is here, everywhere else its the honda integra and i have no problem with that. as bad as the stereotypical honda drivers are, don't think for a second that the cars they make aren't popular for a reason. given the choice of anything i'd lean towards a legacy gt or rex, but don't think for a minute i wouldn't happily rock a tsx or rsx-s.
