i havent done it myself but, you need a conefilter adapter that goes onto the MAF, then snap on the cone filter

      they cost sumthing like 20bucks
look on ebay they alwasy got one for sale
No more protege, Mx-3 now...Only known BP powered Mx-3 in Nova Scotia

no just about everyone has. have you tried doing a search? you'd find out that you need to get a cone filter adaptor off of e-bay. Remove your big black air box and then mount the cone on the adatpor and bolt that onto your VAF. JProtege has a nice picture of a cone mounted on the VAF. So does Cablemirc. I do to, somehwere.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

        A Protege driver named Brock

        So his engine he goosed
        With much too much boost,
And drove a rod through his block.

The whole set up in my sig cost under $50 bucks and took less than 30 minutes to install. As for step by step instruction... just do it. make sure you have a 10mm socket and a philipps head screw driver. Once you get the old stuff out figureing out how it goes back in is a snap.
