    1st gen turbo manifold

    Ok for all those who have been waiting here is an update on the t3 manifold process. All of the material has been aquired and I have determined the correct dimentions for the Header flange.

    Header and T3 flange 1/2" cold rolled steel
    Pipe will be 16 gauge steel

    For the prototype (the one im making for my car) wont have an exteral wastegate but i would consider putting one on in the future if it was requested.

    The style of the manifold now will be log, I invision more styles after this is complete. and once complete will be coated with high temp ehaust paint.

    If you guys have any questions or suggestions, things you want to see, changes. Let me know. I expect the prototype to be done mid september. (it would be faster if I didnt have school)

      I havnt given it a ton of thought. I dont wanna say something super low and end up having to raise it cuz it wasnt enought and I dont wanna go high and scare people away. I've seen manifolds from 150 i think is the SSautocrap manifold to 700. I dunno why those cost soo much no manifold is worth 700. If you guys have opions on a reasonable price post it. I will consider everything. If it all works out I figure I will end up with a base log still manifold at a set price and if people other things with it or a differnt style It'll go up. The base non wasgated i'll say a tentitive 150 but nothing is set in stone.

        that would very competitive with CS's GTX offering. Considering these are a near sure guarentee (compared to possible waiting) it should sell well if the market is right. I know I'm looking $100-$200 is a nice mark. I think the only thing that may scare people is the familiarness with the VJ and IHI (at least escort wise).

            I just got to school so providing I have some time in the next week I should have the 1st manifold all marked up and machined.

                ok so this is what i have done to my car.... i have a mitsu te04h turbo miata header customized for a turbo... volvo intercooler, dsm bov, acufab adj. fuel pressure reg, stock injectors and maf, colder spark plugs narrowed gap, stock cat and 2.5" exhuast..... umm thats all that i can think of for now... pics coming soon

                  Sorry for the wait guys but school has been kicking my ass so I have had very little time to work on the manifold. Current status: Flanges machined, Pipes currently being machined and welded. Hopefuly done within a week
