I have a 98 lx pro and my bumper has had a serious dent in it for a while...i'm looking to get it replaced... how in the world do I go about this? where do I look? how much would it cost you think?

    Don't be a lazy bum.

    Search!

    eBay
    Rear bumper cover

    Front bumper cover

Now don't start 5 other threads asking about the same ****. It's annoying.

        No. That IS the bumper.

oh really! so i take off my old one and put that on? I thought it said bumper cover, like a piece of plastic that goes over the front, so this is the actual bumper! That is so awesome. Just what I'm looking for! I ordered them and I'm going to send the money order ASAP! Thank you so much!

The bumper is what absords the shock if there is an impact it is usually a big steal bar behind the cover that you where used to call bumper....

Yes, what you see is the bumper cover and what's under is the bumper itself. In the old days they were one in the same and that's where your confusion is.

ah i see, plasic cover mounts on top of the bumper to give it the look I've got a new front and i figured i'd get a new rear while I'm at it, mioght as well go new for both of em! 150 bucks isn't bad at all for a front and rear... granted it's black tho... i could paint it, i have the paint, but im gonna put it on black, see how it looks lol

Our bumpers are big fat fibreglass peices. In front of the fibreglass, there is some stiff white foam padding. Then the bumper cover goes over top.

Oh and Ninja, don't mean to hijack your thread but..
This would be a perfect time to clear room under the driver side headlight for a cold air intake (if you don't have an intake already). It'll be right in your face when you remove the bumper cover. Just a thought. Saves some weight in the meantime too.
