    Ive Done It!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I just got back from the track here in Pueblo colorado, and I finally hit my goal! I broke 14s on the NA BP engine! With no internal work.

I have a timeslip, but i dont have a digi cam anymore nor a scanner! Here's the stats on it.....

    60' 330' 1/8th mph 1000' 1/4 Time MPH
    2.42 6.227 9.593 73.23 12.486 14.993 91.00

Just barely broke into the 14s. I borrowed a set of my friends 15" drag radials and some lightweight rims (apparently the combo weighed in at 11lbs each)
My car is completely gutted IE: No dash, headliner, carpet, seats, sound deadener, nothing. The car weighed in at 2012 with me in it. Without me in it, would be 1827lbs. So I was able to strip nearly 235lbs out of it since the first time I weighed her. I ran on 93 octane, and an 18 degree timing advance. Im very excited as I think that makes me one of if not the fastest NA 1st gen around. It was my 4th run of the day, and I just couldn't get the launch down on the first few runs because of those drag radials....lemme tell you, those things hook hard! LOL. That was the goal with my car. Now I think Im going to put all the interior back together and see if I can re-break 14s...woohoo!!

I would be really surprised if the WHEEL AND TIRE TOGETHER weigh only 11lbs.

I dont think a tire and a wheel can weight that little, unless they are those tiny ass bicycle tires ghetto ppl put on their cars.

With Drag radials your 60 footer still blows dude..I cut a 2.19 60 footer with regular es100's....If you can get a better 60 you will be deep in the 14's.Still good job though.

yea that 60' sucks...but unfortunately thats the best I could get. I've still got to figure out the best launching rpm, tire pressure, etc etc etc.

I run less tire pressure on the driver side. It seems to work.
All motor the best I got was high 15s.
