Where are all the members in Illinois?

It is just way too quiet in the Illinois section here @ clubprotege. This section is dead. Anybody doing anything before it gets cold? Any big meets, small meets, bbq's, events, etc. Thought I post to see what everyone is up to and what they are spending all their precious time on. Everyone fixing their vehicles? Let see how long it takes for a single reply here. See you guys later and post away because this section has completely been dead all summer.

it is very sad how little posting happens in the IL section .... i'm just busy with work and trying to get all the pieces together for my new engine ... but if anyone has any suggestions about getting together i'm interested

I just got back from Europe and that's while I haven't been posting here in a while. Putting the finishing touches on my car myself. A get togheter sounds really nice, as long as there's lot of beer around

projectmx did you change your screen name? Or are you protegeboy78's bro? How is that engine coming along and did you get a chance to talk with Ryan?

Jo I will try to find that friken cav for you so that it can blow you out of the water. J/k man you will easily take care of him once and for all.

Identity x what's up man. Nice to here from you I thought you did not exist anymore.

Anybody, other than identity x coming fron Europe, do anything exciting Labor day weekend other than fixing their rides. I went up north to Wisconsin and spent the whole weekend with my family at our grandfather's cabin which is 4 hours north of Grayslake, IL and is on roughly 12 acres or so. We ate a lot and slept a lot. We had a couple of projects to complete while up there but took it slow. Hate to say this guys but summer is just about over. Peace, Santos

yeah this is protegeboy78 dave changed my name for me since i have an mx-3 now and don't have my pro anymore.. it was very nice of him... i havne't talked to ryan much recently should i have? and the engine isn't coming along very fast.. i couldn't get into the garage this weekend to work on it but hopefully next week i can start the tear down... he didn't give me a fuel rail and injectors or the coil or distributor so i'm trying to source those also... although since i don't have the coil and disti i'm considering swapping to CAS and coil pack

I just thought maybe you have talked to him after the last meet. That's all. So you didn't have any big plans this past weekend Tim?

I believe he is driving a 3rd gen DX. He has plenty of pics in the forum of his car.
