    new wheels/tires mounted today....omg

    For some of you who know from my "awsome day" post and my sig that ive got 14 inch steelies off a miata with toyo proxes H rated mid profile tires......i actually put them on today when i had my car up on the lift....and holy crap...its night and day...i can take turns now at 40 that before with my old tires i would have slid out at 20....its SO smooth...i no longer shake between 55-70 and i had my shop balanced everything out for me.....i no longer feel the car shaking around over bumps or my losing traction.....for a 91 protege with stick.....i am having so much fun with it now....i WILL get pics soon.....it looks so badass

    Short ram cold air
    stock muffler back on
    NGK plugs
    14inch miata steelies w/toyo proxes p185/60r14 82H - back
    13inch protege steelies w/toyo proxes S rated - front
    stripped a/c

    Garrett TB-25, solenoid cut off at 17psi
    Gutted cat w/borla muffler
    Aero spec clutch (7k miles old)

    decent tyres make a huge difference, performance and safety.

      lower profile will efect those things you described as well (faster corners and whatnot)

      People dont realize how important tires are sometimes, and cheap out with the Wal-Mart ones.

      The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.
